Why we do this

Two reasons this site exists

We are not a travel agency, and we are not trying to become one. There are two simple reasons we do this.

1. This is genuinely what we enjoy

Two things, really: travelling, and the puzzle of finding a great deal. We plan our own trips obsessively, we read award charts for fun, and we take a real satisfaction in paying ₹14,000 for a room that lists at ₹35,000. Writing it all down was the natural next step.

2. We think travellers deserve to know what things really cost

We were recently asked to look over a Northern Lights itinerary a travel agent had put together for our parents. So we rebuilt the same trip ourselves, from the ground up, matching it night for night and tour for tour.

The agent was charging at least ₹1.5 lakh more per couple

And that is before counting the commissions the agent was separately earning from the hotels and tour operators. Same dates, same cities, same kind of hotels.

That gap is what convinced us to build this. Not to become another middleman, but to share what we know so you can plan your own trip, your own way, and keep that money for the trip itself. It is why every guide here is free.
